Loving People Because of a Loving God.
F.A.Q.'sWhen and where does SHBC worship on Sunday?
SHBC transforms Nolensville Elementary School in to an inviting place of worship each Sunday morning at 10am. What is the worship service like? SHBC worship is a dynamic, authentic time of fellowship with God and one another. Our music is a contemporary blend of new praise and worship along with the great hymns of our faith. Pastor Steve then shares a relevant message that God can use to change your life! Do you have Sunday School or small group bible studies on Sunday? We do and we call them “Life Groups”. LG’s are for all ages and meet at 9am, prior to our Sunday morning worship service, in different areas of Nolensville Elementary School. Upon entering the school’s front entrance, we will have smiling faces ready to guide you to the group that meets you where your are on life’s journey. What does SHBC offer for children on Sunday morning? We provide a nursery for ages 4 and under. All children have Life Groups that meet at 9am. Children are also dismissed from our 10am service, just before the message, to experience a fun, biblical Children’s Church program. Does SHBC offer mid-week services? SHBC offers Wednesday night bible studies for all ages that are held at our Sunset Road property beginning at 6:30pm. The address is 1635 Sunset Road. Does SHBC have a Youth Ministry?
Yes! Rick Jenkins is our Student and Worship Pastor. Wednesday night is main meeting time for Blaze Student Ministry where students grades 6th-12th come together for a time of prayer, bible study, fellowship and the opportunity for every student to connect with God in their "everyday" lives. Our student calendar is packed with opportunities for service, fellowship, worship, discipleship and evangelism! See our Student Ministry page for more details!
What should I wear when I attend SHBC? Come as you are, although clothing is not optional! :) It’s my FIRST time visiting SHBC. What should I expect? If you are visiting with us for the first time, don’t worry; We don’t single out visitors because we want you to truly feel welcome! We do invite you to visit our Connection Table where we will have a special gift for you as our way of saying, “Thanks for visiting us!” On Tuesday night, our Pastor Steve would love to briefly drop by and express his appreciation for your visit. I have more questions! Please feel free to contact our church office by calling 615-776-1807 or email our church office at mcatanzano@sunsethillsbc.com. What if the weather is bad? For Sunday and Wednesday services that may be effected due to inclement weather, please visit our website at www.sunsethillsbc.com or call 615-776-1807 for service cancellation information. Wednesday services will be cancelled if either Williamson County or Davidson County Schools are closed that day due to weather. |
